thwala training was started in 2011 by willem du toit after working for various training companies as trainer, training manager and marketer. the company received its name “thwala” from the african word “to carry” as we aim to create employment by empowering unskilled individuals with manageable training, thus uplifting communities. we are currently operating from our head office in cape town, but our services are available nationally and neighboring countries by our highly skilled facilitators, assessors and moderators. course include: * teta national certificate qualification in professional driving * teta single unit standard qualification: training and re-certification (including most c and f codes) • driven machinery training • lifting equipment training • driver training • convey dangerous goods (dot accredited) • and many more * ceta national certificate qualification in construction plant operations * ceta single unit standard qualification: training and re-certification • construction/ yellow machinery training • basic rigging and slinging • scaffolding training • and many more * occupational health & safety: compliance training, re-certification and other single standard qualifications • training in aarto, coid act, hira • first aid level 1, 2 and 3 • environmental awareness and risk assessment • basic and advanced fire fighting • and many more all qualifications within saqa id standards and guidelines ohs training in accordance to health and safety act 85 of 1993. we are registered and in good standing with teta, ceta, department of labour, department of transport and is bb bee level 4.
