jt edwards is independently owned and offers clients the ability to deliver large building projects and maintenance services. our expertise focuses within educational establishments and hospital nhs trusts offering full building refurbishments and the planned maintenance of gas & electric works. we work with over 100 schools across the country and are readily relied upon to carry out works from full refurbishments to planned and preventive maintenance. we offer a unique service that allows clients to select a total or partial maintenance solution. our flexible approach means we are able to listen to individual requirements which in turn allows us to help with a reduction in costs and engage in a better service. in addition to working with a number of schools we are also fortunate enough to work with hospital trusts. we have successfully completed a number of contracts, such as extensive refurbishment projects in emergency departments and the installation of covid-19 safety measures. we are experienced and committed to delivering healthcare projects at the highest standard and with minimal disruption. all of our works are carried out within the statutory standards and guideline procedures. in the current climate we have heavily invested in a clear management system when working on sites and can confirm we are fully compliant with the governments guidance on managing the risk of covid-19. safeguarding the welfare of children, vulnerable groups, clients and the general public whilst carrying out works is of the utmost importance to us. recently it has been our focus to push forward with green initiatives and we have pledged our commitment to become net zero carbon by 2030. to drive this forward we have launched our green fund 2021 for friendly construction projects and green employee training and technology with an investment of £100,000.
